creating a hosting plan

1. Navigate to Hosting Plans in the MSPControl panel.

2. Click Create Hosting Plan.

3. Enter the following details:

   • Plan Name A descriptive name for the plan.

   • Plan Description Briefly describe the plan.

   • Target Server Select the server where the resources will be provisioned.

4. Define quotas by selecting the services to be included and specifying limits for each.

5. Click Save to finalize the plan.

Changing a plan after it is in use

Editing a plan changes every Hosting Space built from it

A Hosting Plan is a live template, not a one-time copy. Once customers are on it, any quota you change propagates to all existing Hosting Spaces based on that plan — including ones belonging to other customers. Treat a plan in production as fixed.

For individualized resource adjustments, use Hosting Add-Ons instead of modifying the base Hosting Plan. Hosting Add-Ons allow administrators to provide additional resources beyond the limits set in the Hosting Plan without impacting all customers. For example:

• 1 Hosted Organization (one tenant in Active Directory) May be included in the plan as a standard feature for all customers.

• 10 Exchange Mailboxes / 20 Exchange Mailboxes Instead of modifying the plan for customers with different mailbox requirements, assign additional mailboxes using Hosting Add-Ons.
