AD custom field names
Section titled “AD custom field names”Settings > Policies > Hosted Organization > Custom Fields names the Active Directory custom fields MSPControl reads and writes against organization users.
AD exposes a set of generic extension attributes with no inherent meaning. This screen is where you record what your estate uses each one for, so the panel shows a field labelled with your name for it rather than the raw attribute.
Get this wrong and MSPControl reads a field that holds something else — the value shown against a user is real data, just not the data you think it is. Confirm the mapping against what your AD actually stores before relying on it in reports or automation.
