Legacy MSPControl Deployment Diagrams

These archived diagrams illustrate historical ways MSPControl components and managed services were distributed across servers and network boundaries.

The files are preserved to help existing deployments interpret older architecture records. Do not copy version labels, server roles, network addresses, or security assumptions into a new design without validating them.

For a new MSPControl deployment:

  1. Review the current prerequisites.
  2. Choose a deployment option.
  3. Decide where the Portal, Enterprise Server, managed Server components, and SQL Server will run in your environment.
  4. Validate IIS bindings, certificates, firewall rules, service connectivity, backup, and recovery requirements with the owners of the affected infrastructure.
  5. Follow the current Windows Server installation guide instead of the procedures implied by the archived diagrams.

Use the archived files only as a starting point for drawing your own environment. Current product requirements and tested support information take precedence.
