Supported Software

MSPControl 3.1 supports the server platforms, cloud services, agents, and integrations listed below.

How to read this page

Supported is an owner-approved MSPControl support status. It does not mean that every historical release of a third-party product has been tested. Where an exact version range is not listed, use a vendor-supported release and confirm the intended combination before a production deployment.

Server platform and prerequisites

Windows Server	Windows Server 2016, 2019, 2022, and 2025; any edition; x64	Supported	MSPControl may be installed on a new or existing server.
IIS	The IIS version included with a supported Windows Server release	Supported	Enable the required IIS application-development features. Application Initialization must not be installed.
SQL Server	SQL Server 2016 SP2 or later; any edition, including Express	Supported	Apply current service packs and security/cumulative updates. SQL Server 2022 requires CU17 or later.

Endpoint and infrastructure platforms

Integrations and deployment tools

Chocolatey	MSPControl installation and upgrade tooling	Supported	Chocolatey is a deployment/update dependency used by MSPControl; it is not a service managed by MSPControl.

Vendor lifecycle still applies

MSPControl support does not extend the security or servicing lifecycle of Microsoft or third-party products. Keep every underlying product on an actively maintained release wherever possible.
